Light begets darkness, and in it's wake is a restless return. Even the unknown incites fear which is ultimately rooted in the coexistence of each respectively. It's to no surprise that the story of a King seeking to save the world is enraptured in that theory, that which is against absolute elimination itself. Mickey, as solemn and powerful was he was, couldn't bear the burden of the world's on his own shoulders for any longer. The time finally came where others were shared the burden of his weight, but of all of those, Oni was perhaps the one who held the most conviction of them all. Infact, to most, Oni would've otherwise frightened them with his apperance.
But not the King. Glistening in the lights of the infinite suns they stood in the perplexing yet misunderstood world between worlds, that which was nothing more than a sealed off vacuum of bright space, used to Mickey's advantage as the aid of Yen Sid himself. The ephermeal grandeur of his majesty brought all the knight's of his kingdom to their knee's behind him, numbering in a few dozen, while he waited for Oni.
Lately Mickey had viewed the efforts of the battle moreso as a war than anything else. Many had died, but he refused to let any others succumb to the hands of fate that reeled them to their impending doom. Not so long as he held the Star Seeker within his hands.
Waiting on Oni's expected arrival he sneezed. A regal pearl overcoat cloaked his majority so as to only reveal his golden glimmering eyes that shined with the radiance of a sun.
"What's takin' that brat so long!"
Oni, at any minute, would be arriving by the passage of light he'd granted him at the behest of his keyblade, that which granted way through the darkness covering the worlds.
