This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will!
It was dark, corrupt, the Lhusu mines seeped energy, an energy that held so much power in one place, it was a treasured location. However like everything treasured it contains its flaws, the flaws of no one could fight off the monsters that could of lurked within the cave systems. At least no one within the business of the mines, some people however could survive. Broken was one such man, under no contract, no hunt, he was simply there for the pure need. He gave no damn about any warning within the caves, even possible mechanisms that could keep him sealed from various areas. The dark was soothing, despite the fact he had no emotion, and it felt like home, a place to stay at.
The air was damp, a trickle of water sounded throughout the still air and the closed eyed nobody opened his violent crimson eyes, and his cloaked back leaned again the stone wall, covered arms crossed over his chest. He was thinking, examining his surroundings, perhaps he would meet another explorer in the caves and take an advantage of them, either of joining them or just destroying them. He had no idea if someone else was here so it was a mere thought that crossed his mind. Moving from his position his booted feet began moving in the open corridors of the mine, his senses aware to any possible threat that could appear. One had to be ready for everything that could or could not appear in one’s face while exploring.
His smallest digit twitched slightly against the ring around it to deploy the mechanism hidden on his arms, in a mere second he could of deployed the blades easily to use them to attack anyone who dared to possibly attack him, monster or otherwise. His steps echoed off the walls with each movement, sounding like there was more than just one person moving throughout the tunnel system. Possibly alerting to his location for various spawns of monsters, or a warning to anyone venturing inside, whatever the case each step made noise that rang off the walls in every direction, the heavy step of his boots marched across the rock. The various glows from the stone resonated throughout the location, various hues of blues and green, and one or two pinks to reds here and there causing a distinct glow.
His main objective at this point was to find any possible levers or situations to open the cave more, if they were even in the tunnels, which he assumed so. His emotionless demeanor stayed put as he continued across the opening. He placed a hand against the stone he walked along side. The feeling of touch, something he still had ,of course it’d make no sense if he couldn’t feel the world through touch, since some people already emotionally distanced themselves from the world, but they could never distance themselves from touch. He continued through the darkness, his red eyes going back and forth, always trained of the world around him, like a warrior’s sixth sense, his mind was open, alert to the entire world. But he just kept walking, ready for anything, or at least, that’s what he thought.
