She looked towards the palace feeling nostalgic. She used to be the crown princess and lived in that very castle. Now she was nothing but a sky pirate who would be sent to the dungeons if caught. She missed a few things like her family but knew this was the life for her. The life she always dreamed of.
The girl was almost completely happy with her life. However, she would have liked to say goodbye to her family. She wished she could just walk into the palace and apologize and tell her family she still loved them. Though her parents would have to send her to the Nalbina Dungeons. After all, even though she wasn't a huge criminal she was still wanted for thievery. The only real crime she had committed so far in her life as a criminal. That and drinking underage... and destroying a bar...
Rena shook her head and continued walking, now headed towards the shops. She shouldn't get too near the palace in case someone recognized her. Even though she looked very different from when she was here a year ago she still didn't want to be found out. Since she left she'd grown her hair out longer, had grown in the breast and hip department, and had also matured a bit in the face. Only those who knew her well would have recognized her, but she'd known a few palace guards back in the day. She didn't want any trouble now that she was in the capital.
The girl had originally come back to Rabanastre to steal a prized treasure from the palace. It was a rare chain that would give her weapons amazing power. She wanted to put together a crew while she was in Rabanastre as well. She'd tempt them with other treasures. The palace treasury was loaded with special chains for weapons that all at some point belonged to royalty. "I ought to get going soon," she murmured to herself.

Jerrard walked through the streets of Rabanastre, the red hood of his jacket laid on top of his head, covering his face from any travelers. He'd stare at the ground, kicking rocks as he walked down the street, moving out of the way of the occasional civilian. "Hate this stupid place..." he mumbled to himself as he walked, expressing a bit of disdain towards his new home, "Radiant Garden was so much better." he continued to mumble as he walked, glancing up from time to time. After awhile Jerrard would sigh and take the hood off his head, brushing out his blonde hair with his fingers "Should try to make the best of it atleast." he said to himself as he stopped walking and leaned up against the side of a building in the shop area. While leaning against said building he'd notice a girl walk past him, someone who knew all too well. Jerrard would lean off the wall, staring at the girl as she walked, he'd stare at her nervously, shaking a bit as he called out to her "...Rena?"

Mirror, mirror, tell me something
Who's the loneliest of all? Everyday someone was asking what the meaning of life was and trying to make their life better in what they felt. Each day, someone found themselves and what made their fire burn for life. Adventures were to be had and all sorts of things seen over the years. The beauty of the world, life, and even people were all something to be cherished. The different people walking around were more than just a person, they all had a name and a story behind their face and some would be pretty interesting if just given the chance to speak. The day had been yet again, another enlightening experience with the people of Dalmasca and she was their princess, their lives all to be placed in her hands one day,, however far off that was. The day was going absolutely perfect. The young beauty of Dalmasca had done her rounds and visited a couple of placing, giving the people a sense of calm in the midst of a rough time. The stories about some of the monsters having reached their ears but Selvaria would make sure they were safe. It was her duty, an obligation passed down to her and her sister....yes...her sister.....the one who abandoned that responsibility long ago. People had free will and their choices were their own to make and even if it took them down different paths, her father had told her of the consequences. Each path had a specific set of consequences and as long as you were ready to do that and live with them, well....you were able to go on ahead. Despite this, even Selvaria wondered how her sister could forget the lives of all these people. Sure it was a lot of responsibility but this is the life that they were given and she wouldn't run from it. That was how she felt her sister dealt with it. Though on her walk home....hair as golden as the light walked by at a distance and before she could catch herself she was following her down the street with a slightly confused expression on her face. It couldn't have been, though upon closer inspection and watching the girl look to the castle, Selvaria's eyes would narrow slightly. They seemed to shine light blue, hard and cold as she followed silently. Though, it wasn't long until they were from the crowd and another blonde haired figure turned to the girl, uttering the name she though, 'Rena". It was too much for her to fathom at that time but after getting this close to the girl, she was definitely certain that the young woman before her was Rena Dalmasca. She would never confuse her flesh and blood. "Rena Dalmasca...........what business do you have in Rabanastre?" the bell voice would ring coolly. Selvaria had not expected to see her again after she left the castle a year ago. Tags: Rena Dalmasca, Jerrard Flint Notes: Trying the other template

Her amethyst eyes widened when she realized who it was that had spoken to her. A man she hadn't seen in some time. She knew him very well, after all, they had been lovers at one time. "Jerrard?" she asked in surprise. The last they left off was when she got into a fight about wanting to be free and wanted to fulfill her dreams. He had wanted to possibly start settling down on a world and concentrate on the two of them but Rena hadn't wanted to settle down. She wanted the life of adventure and fame, and Jerrard wasn't the guy who she wanted to sacrifice all that for.
She decided she should be kind to him. After all, she did sort of break his heart. She smiled a cocky smile and spoke, "Long time no see. I didn't think you'd be here in Rabanastre. Where have you been since we broke up?"
Before she could continue she heard another familiar yet icy voice. One that made her heart stop and then suddenly beat as fast as a chocobo being chased by a swamp croc. She turned to the woman behind her and gaped like a fish at her. How did she know she was back in town? How did she even feel about her? Did she still love her?
After making a quick decision Rena rushed towards the white haired female with her arms wide open for a crushing hug. "Selvy! My baby sis!" She rushed her with a comical happy look on her face. Rena decided to ignore her question at first, deciding it would be better for a warm welcome to let her sister know her feelings didn't change even though she ran away.

It was late day and the sun had just begun to set as Xang made his way through the town. He was dressed in normal garb he'd just finished scouting one of the higher class districts the target for his next job set in his mind. He'd walk through the city streets staying away from any areas too crowded as he made his way back to the small a apartment he'd rented in one of the less lavish districts.
On his way back he caught a glimpse of an interesting scene. A small group of people had gathered in the side streets. Quite the iconic figure seeming to lead the conversation or perhaps the blond haired girl across from here. The White haired girl was known far and wide throughout the city as the princess. After six months it'd be a shame if he hadn't realized at least that much.
The foreigner would seemingly fade into the background within earshot. He wouldn't hide he'd simply lean back against a far wall and seemingly mind his own business occasionally his pink eyes would flicker up and glance at the three of them before returning to the ground.
"Now what would the princess be doing out here." With enough time the young man thought he might be able to profit on the situation. Of course he wasn't donning his mask or anything to truly shroud himself with at the moment, so making any rash moves wouldn't do him well in the long run. [/size]

"The one and only..." Jerrard mutter out with a smirk appearing on his face as Rena said his name. His smirk would soon turn into a goofy little smile as he looked at her...before remembering the fight they went through, causing them to break up. He'd frown a bit as he kept looking at her, oblivious to the man watching them. "Ummmmm I live here?" Jerrard told her, shrugging his shoulders at her saying she didn't think he'd be here. He'd begin thinking of how to reply to Rena asking where he's been since they broke up, probably something smart to say, before another voice called out her name. Jerrard would turn his head to see a girl with hair, who rena would run up to and hug yelling out 'Selvy! My baby sis!'. The blonde would then chuckle, still staring at the new girl "Never said you had a cute sister too Rena."
