Xang Yi Liao
Basic Information
Name: Xang Yi Liao, Xi
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Xang is a fairly average looking male for his age standing at 5'11 or so and still growing. He has a lean body type, however due to his constant training and only adequate sustenance growing up the muscles he has don't bulge much. In terms of facial structure and hair he was born with oddly colored pink eyes something almost unknown to people of any race when making use of his chi they fade into a yellow or even golden blend. To match the color of his eyes a small portion of his hair is pink, and like most of his general outfit he keeps the latter end of his hair tied in a traditional pony tail.
In terms of clothing Xang prefers to stay traditional sticking with a green taichi mao style top the ties parting diagonally across the jacket as opposed to simply down the center. Its lined with gold stitching and lining the ties is a completely black piece completely across. In terms of pants he wears white loose gi pants and Kung-Fu shoes.
Personality
Personality: A very reserved fighter who speaks little even to those he recognizes as allies. He's grown up training in various combat arts and through that he's become extremely calm both in body and in mind. He's one who truly sees the forest for the trees, and takes pleasure in finding beauty in places that have been said to have none.
However also due to his training he's become rather stubborn in his path it's one of the reasons why he was sent away. Xang is rather close minded when it comes to worldly things and has been known to fight for what he believes in even if he himself knows it wrong. His moral compass is a bit askew and so he follows his own system of laws and justice disregarding what others feel and think about them respectively.
A robin hood in his own, his moral code allows for this as long as he's using what he steals to survive or for what calls the greater good, if he feels a cause is worthy he'll also distribute a majority of his wealth to someone in need as that also falls under the category of the greater good.
In terms of wisdom Xing is much more 'wise' than he is 'smart'. Meaning although he doesn't know much about the outer world or the universe in general he uses what he knows to benefit him and those around him to its max, whether it be a few insightful words to a fellow traveler or a plan to pilfer treasure from someone who is already well off. His intelligence ranges more on common sense rather than what would be referred to as book knowledge, although after having left his sheltered homeland he's begun to take an interest in fine literature if only to help him understand the various nuances of the rest of his world.
He enjoys combat and showing the results of his training as most men do, however he will not go out of his way to fight or step into conflict in general. He believes his skills will be shown when necessary and stepping into an unnecessary fight is a fool's errand. Not overly charismatic he prefers to work alone usually, however he also understands no man, or woman can truly make a way on their own, and so he's usually willing to lend and occasionally accept a helping hand if its given.
In terms of enemies those who stand against him, or break his moral code in his presence. He'll intervene immediately if he sees something he doesn't agree with usually attempting to talk out the situation. If talking doesn't work then it comes to blows. If it does come to blows there is no warning given. Once the realization comes to him, that a situation cannot be worked out non violently he strikes immediately rarely giving time or notice to whom he is attacking.
As for emotional attachments he currently has none whatsoever. His family is no more, and his masters their blessings to him, all of which are more than strong enough to take care of themselves. In this world he was told from the moment he left his continent he'd be alone from that point on and he was to find people he could care about on his own terms.

History
Original World: Ivalice
Current World: Ivalice
History: A father who died in war and a single mother who abandoned him at 3. Xang was raised by a school of martial artist for about as long as he could remember. Xang was a quiet boy growing up always focusing on what was next at hand. He never truly lived in the moment too concerned with tomorrow. Seeing as he lived in the dojo he was the strongest student in the school, however he lacked social skills and certain qualities that you simply couldn't get through constant training Despite how hard his Shifu and Kwoon as a whole simply couldn't provide.
Through his early years Xang become displeased with his circumstances and deep jealousy filled his heart. It showed in his fighting he became a brutal fighter and occasions he even injured other fighters with little to no remorse in training. He became rebellious his spirit like fire. He listened to no one believed in nothing and was scorned by all who knew him.
It was only until he dealt an injury that someone couldn't come back from. In a sparring match against a student he considered his rival he used all his chi and shattered his opponents legs entirely. The 16 year old would never walk again. He was kicked out his school and for the first time he was completely alone. That with the guilt of the boy's life he ruined was almost enough to kill him.
Alone Xang trained from that point on calming himself. To this day he hasn't forgiven himself it was a year of complete silence a year he reflected on his actions and forming is own moral code. He'd make up for his sin and find a way to heal the boy. With enough money possibly, there had to be a way to heal the one he ruined. During that year he also began to garden finding interest in certain flowers, in particular the lotus. He began training with the weapons his teachers prepared for him in years prior putting his soul into all he did, preparing himself for his journey.
When he turned seventeen, he was reinstilled in his dojo they'd seen his prowess and his remorse over what he'd done, however Xang refused to go back he had nothing to go back for, he'd much rather travel and search for ways to heal the one he'd broken. He'd leave the land of the east and head west. Once he had money or perhaps learned how to heal the wounded himself then he'd return. He prepared for another six in the company of his masters away from the dojo learning all that they could teach. It was up to him to master the skills taught in his travels.
Xang has been on his own for 6 months acquiring money the only ways he knows how, and so he steals from those who have excess and giving to those who have little keeping what he needs for himself. Learning about the world and searching for a way to redeem himself.

Weapons and Chains
Weapon: Forest Lotus
Two green bladed semi automatic pistols that fire what he likes to call force rounds. Xang's people lack in magical power, and by extension Xang himself lacks in magical power however in place of magic they've worked with a spiritual power known as 'Chi' which has no properties at all similar to magic it releases similar effects. It's non elemental and takes physical presence as opposed to energy. Xang is able to use his chi as ammo for his pistols. The pistols are also made to work as bladed Knuckle dusters to compliment his martial arts. The weapons have holders inside his sleeves and by slinging his arms a certain way the weapons fly out to his palms. In terms of power and range the bullets can reach about 700 feet in length before fading however the farther they fly the less damage they do. Up close they deal normal light-mid damage while they do simply light damage from afar. The blades however do mid damage as well and are slightly stronger than the bullets altogether. (damage is in terms to light, mid, heavy)
Chains: (leave blank)
