- Nova's full name is 'Nova Yvonne Aurdia'; her surname being of the Atlantis family whom she is living with. It had been previously 'Lancer'.
Miss Lancer is a very traditional and formal title that some of her father's partners called Nova before she had traveled to Atlantis for some studies.
Traitor is a small and rather hurtful 'nickname' that she has been given due to deciding to formally and officially make Atlantis her new home.
Age: Seventeen .
Gender: Female .
Race: Human .
Nova is a young woman of average height standing at five feet and two inches tall, or well she's a bit on the shorter side, but don't point that out to her. She's very self conscious about her height when someone mentions it. The young woman has long blond-brown tresses that flood to the lower half of her back that have a curve yet wavy appearance. It's something rather odd with Nova's eyes is that they appear like what is called a 'Super Nova'; a mixture of a blue-violet. Whenever the young woman becomes very mad or stubborn they seem to come alive and seemingly stand out above everything else. Yet drained and tired they mix into a softer saturation with on the verge of becoming a gray tint. Something noticeable about Nova is that she's rather.. well endowed in her breast area, something that sometimes men notice way too quickly for the girl's liking.
Nova wears a sleeveless button up black blouse with a slight collar that is cuffed around her neck downwards. It is fitted underneath a navel high crimson red skirt that flows to right above her knees, of which she wears black legging stockings underneath as well for some extra 'privacy' of sorts. She does however wear her older brother's old shoes of which he rarely wore before going off to Atlantis. They do appear rather big on her feet but they are actually very comfortable and the correct size, they reach right above the ankles however Nova has rolled them over slightly, appearing even looser then what they are.
On top of Nova's head is a crimson red hat that hides her face with shadows when she is in brighter lights, meanwhile having a pair of old white sunglasses. Upon officially answering a question that her 'exchange' family kept asking her, Nova has agreed to move to Atlantis and because of this they have given her one of their crystals as a sign of trust and foster family love. Despite being far from The Heart of Atlantis, she can still it's guidance and warmth.
- Very stubborn and is never going to let that trait of herself go. Nova dislikes when someone tries to change her mind, even if she is originally not sure about it in the beginning, deep down in her heart Nova is already more aware with the fact that she has settled on a choice that has been dished out. Even though she doesn't take no for an answer, Nova is a very compassionate person and always wanting to help people no matter what or who they are. She sees the good inside of people faster then most people on Earth seem to figure out.
Even with the fact she has been called a traitor because has moved to Atlantis, Nova hates it when people seemingly give each other nicknames or titles based on what they actually do, no everyone knows the true intentions behind what a sole person decides to do. Because of this Nova never jumps to judging someone based on either their good or evil ways, but yet will jokingly judge someone based on their personality and how they act around other people.
Despite appearing like a rather bubbly and 'pink lover', Nova is actually somewhat of a beginning scholar. She has studied many legends and myths in hoping to maybe one day figuring something out for her own, such as Milo Thatch did with Atlantis. Nova is a rather curious person and is always looking to find ways to learn something about each and every new place that she is beginning to find herself traveling to. Even if Nova has quite a bit of knowledge on something, she is very much afraid of making a mistake with her findings and rarely admits any of it to someone else, rather keeping her own journal of her findings for later uses.

Nova Arudia was born in Boston to a simple kind of people, her father worked with the Government meanwhile her mother was the typical stay at home mom, raising not just Nova but her older brother Tyson Lancer as well. Ever since she was just a child, Nova has always been greatly interested in myths and legends, beginning to believe that many of them were indeed real, despite the fact her mother and father would lecture her throughout most of her early childhood years that they were just that, myths and legends that were created to get people to buy and read the books.
No matter what, it seemed like she was hooked on the fact that these things had been written up. Nova always told herself to keep believing, one way or another: myths and legends had to be based on actual people and things right? She was always found during her days off in the library, looking up and reading the same story books more then three times within the same week. Because of this, she was deeply involved with her studies and getting closer and closer to college levels textbooks at an early age when she was just becoming a teenager. Because of this, Nova became part of a higher level of learning with a rare select few of students when she was young.
Then it happened, Nova was sixteen years old when it had occurred, word had spread fast and quick back to the mainland. What was once thought to be the lost civilization of Atlantis had risen from underneath the ocean, a select few of people who had been living above the land were very much aware of it's existence, but this was the first time that it had came back above ground since the legend of when it had sunken. Like the man known as Milo Thatch, Nova herself was deeply interested in dead languages, so the top schools offered a select few of young students go to Atlantis in order to understand the culture, history and of course, the language.
Nova managed to meet the King and Queen of Atlantis for a short period of time before she became involved heavily with introducing the above world technology and their ways, meanwhile studying and learning from the natives as well. What she was most interested had been the crystals that they wore, eventually the family that Nova was staying with had given her one of their crystals on her birthday, having not returned to Boston to celebrate it. If anything, Nova then felt more inclined to stay there, possibly permanently.
It was the follow year that Nova begun to have strange dreams. It was always of a crystal glass like column that had unique and very much non-Atlantian symbols and pictures. Nova felt as if she was hearing a hollow whisper that was always muttering about her picking and choosing something, of what picking, she did not understand. It would happen for days when she would go to bed or even while she thought to be awake; Nova found herself back in the same dark soft lighten place within herself she started to guess. The young woman would question the natives if there were dreams such as this in their teachings, but it never seemed to come up anywhere.
Things then changed; quickly when the darkness came upon Atlantis. Creatures created of shadows were crafted and begun to attack the natives and even those that were there for pure research and curiosity. Nova ended up getting cornered when she was in one of the temples, having studied further about her dreams and the possibility that the crystal was involved. Her life was threatened and then the muttering voice sounded in her mind, in real life it seemed to speak.
If that was a code word for something, Nova found herself holding a seemingly light weight giant key in her hand. Something flooded her mind, it was a weapon of some sort but obviously not from Atlantis. It was awkward for Nova to find herself fighting against shadow ant creatures with a gigantic key in her hand, but yet she was glad there was something that actually defeating the creatures. Never had fought in her entire life, Nova found herself seeing blank black spots in her vision as more and more of them came to prey upon her tiresome body. Then.. there was nothing.
Warmth flooded her body the next time Nova found herself waking up. Seeing such a bright blue sky caused a curious thought to stir inside of Nova, when she was in Atlantis they were currently in a winter like season, but everything felt more like summer now. It caused Nova to wonder what was happening, then she felt sand underneath her hands. Rather strange people had found Nova not soon after she had woke up, there were many questions that she was asking them but yet none of them knew exactly what Nova was talking about, simply taking her to a city: Rabanastre.
